TaipeiPLAS Continues Shaping New PLASbility in 2022 - 2022/09/27~2022/10/01

Taipei, October 29, 2021: The physical edition of TaipeiPLAS is scheduled to return in 2022 from September 27 to October 1 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (TaiNEX 1) in conjunction with ShoeTech Taipei. TaipeiPLAS 2022 will be themed by "Industry 4.0," "Smart Machinery" and "Circular Economy - Net Zero Carbon Emissions" to echo the latest trends in the plastics and rubber industry. Meanwhile, the booth application is set to open on November 2, 2021.

The one-month online event “TaipeiPLAS & ShoeTech Taipei DigitalGo,” which drew to a close on October 28 this year, has recorded 9,000+ online participations. The discussion of sustainable ESG issues and the launch of innovative products from manufacturers at TaipeiPLAS & ShoeTech Taipei DigitalGo both demonstrate that TaipeiPLAS is a leading trade show in Asia for the global plastics and rubber industry. Based on that, the organizers, TAITRA and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry, proudly announced that the physical TaipeiPLAS and ShoeTech Taipei will be back physically next year.

The "Circular Economy - Net Zero Carbon Emissions" is no doubt a significant issue for the industry. Industrial transformation and evolution from upstream to mid-downstream, from material research to manufacturing, processing, and the implement of smart manufacturing, are required, with the aim to develop closed loop supply chains for environmental sustainability. Next year’s TaipeiPLAS adopts the slogan “Shaping New PLASbility” to highlight the industry’s constant striving for recycling, energy conservation and innovative materials.
